KPMG is currently seeking a Sentinel Manager to join our Digital Nexus technology organization. This is a remote work opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of Microsoft Sentinel solutions to enhance the organization's security posture
- Collaborate with cybersecurity architects to integrate Sentinel into the overall security infrastructure
- Serve as the go-to expert on Microsoft Sentinel, staying abreast of the latest features, updates, and best practices
- Provide guidance to the security team on utilizing Sentinel effectively for threat detection, incident response, and security analytics
- Integrate Sentinel with other security tools and technologies to create a cohesive and comprehensive security architecture
- Deploy data pipeline in Azure environment while also supporting pipelines from a multi-cloud approach as well as on-premises platforms
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent experience with data pipeline architecture and implementation with a focus on cybersecurity data; in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel and other relevant security technologies
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information security, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified or Sentinel Administrator or similar are preferred
- Strong understanding of data pipeline architecture and implementation; data collection experience; OOTB (out of the box) data connectors, Linux configuration, Syslog/CEF (Common Event Format)
- Background using Azure tools Notebooks, BYOML (Bring Your Own Machine Learning), or Open AI (Artificial Intelligence) is a big plus
- Familiar with Azure connected machine agent deployments using Azure Arc and creating custom rules and connections; proven experience utilizing Azure DevOps for managing several Azure Sentinel instances in multiple tenants
- Experience supporting a multi-cloud environment is desired; excellent leadership and communication skills
