KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Tax Product Manager to join our Tax Technology Practice.  


  • Accountable for overall product direction, requirements and prioritization, return on investment objectives, and overall client delivery
  • Serve as Product Owner for the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities; assist with  partnership tax interpretations and technical tax advice to project team
  • Specify market requirements for the product by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers
  • Support technology aspect of Orals and RFP process for client proposal work, including live technology demonstrations
  • Interface with clients, project stakeholders, product management group and team members in all phases of technology projects and manage customer expectations


  • Minimum five years of recent overall tax compliance experience, with a strong technical background in partnership taxation, a solid knowledge of state tax concepts as well as familiarity with one or more of the following industries, real estate, hedge, private equity, credit, regulated investment companies (RICs), and/or energy
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Working knowledge of market leading tax compliance software, such as Thompson Reuters or CorpTax, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook, and familiarity with business intelligence tools such as QlikView or Microsoft Power BI
  • Able to deliver compelling and persuasive presentations, as well as articulate a tax technology vision, especially to clients, senior partners and Tax leadership
  • Proven people management skills, leadership and team-building skills, effective time management skills, and excellent technical writing and strong oral communication skills

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD, technology), for example.  -

New York City Salary Range: Low: $139500 - High: $258100
Colorado Salary Range: Low: $121300 - High: $231600
