KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Director, Strategic Sourcing Technology Products & Services to join our IT Sourcing organization.
Responsibilities:
- Build strong strategic relationships with internal CIO's and technology stakeholders to identify, influence and drive innovative savings and efficiency opportunities
- Embed excellence in the strategic sourcing process across the category including competitive sourcing, market analysis, negotiations, cost management, contract management and supplier relationship management
- Develop the firm-wide Technology sourcing strategy as well as planning and execution of sourcing activities to leverage the firm's spending power and support the business needs
- Provide thought leadership and direction through critical negotiations in conjunction with relevant business partners
- Work closely with the Sourcing Third Party Risk team and internal business partners to ensure representation and implementation of respective requirements, while managing risk and achieving business objectives in a cost-effective manner
- Lead a large team of technology sourcing professionals; manage, mentor, develop team and drive towards best practice
Qualifications:
- Minimum Fifteen years of technology products & services sourcing as well as vendor management experience, inclusive of international agreements and outsourcing efforts with a combination of management consulting & industry experience is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in relevant disciplines from an accredited college and/or university; Master's degree is preferred
- Experience with category management strategies for categories in scope, opportunity diagnostic, strategic sourcing process, supplier management with a proven track record of delivering business impact; in-depth understanding of third-party labor market options and suppliers
- Ability to work with C-suite, management and Sourcing colleagues; significant experience leading sourcing teams; exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, ability to influence; in-depth category management experience hands-on detail oriented, adept at juggling competing priorities and meeting timelines
- Comprehension of applicable regulatory requirements, data security, privacy and risk mitigation terms, along with a proven ability to lead, support and conduct successful negotiations
- Prior experience with purchasing systems and organizational interfaces (including e-procurement, Ariba, SAP and e-RFP tools); experience with managed service partners and respective technology platforms / enablers; such as Coupa, Beeline, Magnit
