KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Architect (Data & AI) to join our Advisory Technology practice organization.
Responsibilities:
- Work with business stakeholders, developers, and other architects to design data and AI solutions as part of a global Advisory technology team; talk with stakeholders to gain insight into the problem they are trying to solve, help shape and form both the definition and ongoing development of the solution and guide them toward well architected and cost-effective approaches that align with our global strategy
- Collaborate with other architects to drive consensus based on stakeholder priorities, requirements and constraints, approach, principles, concepts, and expectations; translate business requirements into detailed technical architecture designs for cloud native business solutions
- Perform research, create design patterns, and establish effective practices for leveraging generative AI and AI agents to support enterprise use cases; deep diving into agent frameworks, gaining knowledge and perspective on how to use agents to solve business problems, and distilling that knowledge into ready-to-use patterns and guides
- Conduct basic proofs-of-concept to refine understanding of newer technologies and obtain first-hand experience that can be used to guide stakeholders toward battle tested patterns; assist with the development of blueprints and designs to standardize and scale delivery of data and AI solutions
- Develop a strong network of internal and external relationships with business stakeholders, community leaders, and other architects; build influence in addressing problems or blockers and facilitating additional views on matters of interest
- Participate in internal and external architect community meetings to collect new perspectives, gain insights, and share expertise
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent experience in cloud architecture and cloud native development, and software engineering (Azure Cloud and Microsoft stack preferred); minimum three years of stakeholder management experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred degree; Technical or professional certification in domain (e.g., security) is preferred
- Strong verbal/written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority
- Compliance standards experience a plus (NIST 800.53, SOC 2, etc.)
- Ability to travel as necessary

California Salary Range: $115600 - $246900
