KPMG is currently seeking a Managing Director, Global Solutions Lead to join our KPMG Delivery Network (KDN) organization.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership role model for Solution Ownership in KDN, effective manager of his/her team of direct reports and strong influencer beyond
- Oversight of the overall delivery model to drive quality, manage risks and continuous improvement mindset- ensuring the right balance of responsibilities between global and local teams are managed effectively, balancing quality/risk and efficiency
- Collaborate with Tier 2 regional CoE teams to implement the GCMS strategy Key stakeholder management including Global Head of GCMS / Tax Reimagined, Member Firm Heads of GCMS, and the GCMS and Tax Reimagined communities; participate in various global leadership forums as appropriate as KDN's Head of GCMS
- Quality-of-service delivery, ensuring a culture of client care is in place. Serve as an escalation point for engagement issues not resolved by the relevant KDN engagement partner (lead)
- P&L of KDN GCMS offering globally, including resourcing, cost charges to member firms for proper recoveries, etc
- KDN GCMS' effective execution of its engagement management framework, including engagement governance, profitability, accurate WIPs and billing, on-time cash collection, etc
Qualifications:
- Minimum twelve years of recent experience in global tax compliance, statutory accounting, and/or bookkeeping services, with a strong understanding of multinational client needs and delivery models
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field from an accredited college or university; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, CTA) strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale transformation initiatives, including digital innovation across tax and finance functions
- Proven experience managing senior stakeholder relationships across global networks; able to influence and collaborate effectively at executive levels
- Strong commercial acumen, including experience managing a P&L and driving business performance in a complex, matrixed environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent the firm externally and internally across diverse audiences
- Ability to coach, develop, and lead high-performing teams across geographies; comfortable managing cross-functional projects and navigating political dynamics
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 30% and work flexibly across time zones to support global operations
