KPMG is currently seeking an Associate to join our Federal Advisory practice.
Responsibilities:
- Research / interpret Federal standards, policies, and regulations
- Organize / review financial requests and prepare responses / documentation, including communication with various stakeholders
- Review findings, perform root-cause analysis, develop corrective actions, create project roadmaps, identify dependencies / risks
- Support financial organizational designs, operations, and process workflows
- Assist in documenting current and future state of financial management functions, support change management efforts, and create training documents
- Support development of tools, execute process mapping, create visualizations, and data analysis activities
Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of federal financial management / transformation experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; CPA / CGFM / CDFM certification preferred
- Experience / understanding of federal financial management operations and budget cycles
- Experience analyzing financial processes and controls
- Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements
- Must be able to work directly on client site in SCIF environment
- Applicant must possess a U.S. Government TS/SCI + poly clearance
