- Champion User Experience Design and User Interface Design for designated projects, ensuring a seamless user journey
- Execute user interviews, craft personas, journey maps, site maps and information architecture diagrams to provide a comprehensive understanding of user behavior
- Develop user flows, task analysis matrices, wireframes, high-resolution mockups and prototypes to vividly illustrate product vision
- Strictly adhere to Tax Design System standards, applying them appropriately to mockups for consistency and coherence
- Collaborate closely with UI Developer to ensure the product build is accurate, user-friendly, accessible and aligns with the initial vision
- Must be pursuing and have obtained by the start date or have completed the following degrees/majors in the past 12 months: Bachelors or Masters degree in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Digital Media or equivalent program from an accredited college/university
- Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above
- Coursework and/or basic knowledge in UI/UX Design, Figma, FigJam, Mural and Office 365, showcasing technical proficiency; as well as fundamental knowledge of crafting intuitive, engaging and visually captivating websites or applications that prioritize user ease preferred
- Demonstrated quality service mindset; strong technical aptitude, critical thinking, quantitative skills and problem-solving skills and ability to navigate MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
- Possess robust interpersonal skills with a knack for articulating design direction and vision effectively; excellent communication, time management and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player and resourceful in delivering high quality work
- Must reside within a reasonably commutable distance to the office for this position and be able to travel to reasonably commutable work locations using own means of transportation, such as a personal vehicle or public transportation
- Ability to travel and/or work on-site at client premises as needed, at times with relatively short notice
