KPMG is currently seeking a Business Analyst 3, within our Tax Shared Services practice.
- Work on complex tax work papers and returns using tax technology, apply discretion and independent judgement while reviewing to identify and communicate necessary revisions or conclude that work product is accurate
- Contribute to the development and implementation of tax compliance process, training and technology standards
- Review basic and intermediate tax work papers and returns prepared using tax technology by teams of assistants working on client projects; provide day-to-day advice and guidance for preparers on engagement assignments
- Handle multiple processes, contributors, and aspects of projects to deliver completed work products within a defined timeline and in accordance with quality control standards
- Work with a team utilizing effective communication and collaboration skills to achieve common goals that contribute to quality client service
- Provide guidance and training to peers as necessary to optimize use of tax technology, process or improve quality of tax deliverables and services provided
- Minimum of four years of experience understanding of annual US and state tax return compliance requirements for corporate and partnership entity types required
- Associate's degree from an accredited college/university or High School diploma equivalent
- Effective verbal, written and organizational skills to communicate clearly and professionally with team members and engagement teams; attention to project details, timelines and work ethic to accomplish project assignments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel required
- Ability to manage time and multiple assignments based on instructions provided to meet or exceed expectations in a deadline driven environment
