KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Specialist, State & Local, Project Manager to join our Managed Services practice.
- Manage a POD of specialists/analysts to ensure work is being completed per engagement SLAs and KPIs; supervise any resources assigned to the POD
- Review work of analysts for completion and perform quality checks; provide feedback with action plans and coach them; address Analyst queries
- Coach analysts on policy/procedure requirements; act as a role model to the team displaying KPMG values
- Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures to ensure consistent competency and KPIs are met; create user guides and SOPs
- Create status report, and report to client and Lead Specialists on same
- Address any delivery risks/issues; work with client and internal leadership to address them
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
- Minimum three years of recent experience in an operational and/or delivery capacity; an additional three years of supervising or managing delivery teams; project management experience desirable
- Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university
- Excellent oral, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to quickly and effectively communicate ideas through written narratives and diagrams
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and successfully in a target driven operational environment
- Adaptable and strong collaboration skills with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and more)
- Ability to travel as required
