Address global multi-jurisdictional indirect tax, including Value Added Tax (VAT) and Goods and Services Tax (GST), compliance, reporting and technical issues through research and analysis. Demonstrate in-depth technical tax knowledge in connection with the preparation, review, and delivery of written tax advice. Support global, multi-jurisdictional VAT and other indirect tax engagements for multinational client with international operations. Identify clients' indirect tax risk, opportunities, and obligations. Assess, document, and recommend business requirements for implementing VAT and other indirect tax compliance processes. Prepare VAT and other indirect tax technology training presentations aimed at external and internal audiences. Develop responses to client proposal requests related to indirect tax. Pursue business development opportunities. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks.
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:
Travel to various locations throughout the U.S. required up to 10%.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, Law or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, Law or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Providing tax services to multinational companies with indirect tax issues, including those related to supply chain, business expansion, and mergers and acquisitions; VAT and other indirect tax compliance; Advising on or implementing systems projects, including ERP or tax engines; Process mapping software including Alteryx; and Global VAT health checks and VAT savings review, including providing indirect tax research and drafting deliverables on various VAT treatments.

SALARY: $127,500 - $212,800 per year
