KPMG is currently seeking a Security Officer to join our Lakehouse Campus Security team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a visible and professional presence while on post and patrol and engage with guests and employees while maintaining a high amount of knowledge about the property's offerings and services; seek to delight guests while maintaining the fundamental focus of the security department
- Preserve confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets; support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect and help the team to reach common goals and comply with Firm standards and expectations
- Handle all issues and complaints in a professional and composed manner and assist guests/employees during emergency situations; respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required, gather information and complete reports
- Operate property motor vehicles on and off campus; enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems and perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
- Speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette, listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees; maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises and perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of recent experience in security guard force in the hospitality industry
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required; current CPR/First Aid/AED certification is preferred
- Proficiency in the use of current business applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and related security applications
- Strong communication skills and ability to exercise good judgment and maintain a professional demeanor
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time; flexibility to work on any shift as business needs dictate
