KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate in Customer & Operations for our Consulting practice.
Responsibilities :
- Create and manage complex, integrated project plans, design and deliver project performance reporting (including burn-down and forecast reporting), and build tracking and communication for project leaders and client executive teams.
- Build, evaluate, and monitor AI tools and agents for State & Local Government engagements, both sales and delivery
- Direct client communication, including status reporting, risk reporting and mitigation, scheduling, and staffing
- Conduct business analysis, assess processes and procedures, evaluate system-based and manual controls, and measure business outcomes from KPI baselines and new measurement processes
- Facilitate outcomes-based team meetings and workshops to achieve team and client goals
- Evaluate risks related to requirements management, business process definition, testing processes, internal controls, project communications, training, organizational change management, and value realization
- Coordinate team action items and tasks to maintain on-time project schedule, providing real time constructive feedback against standard performance competencies
- Establish standards by which deliverables will be developed, understand the process used to create the deliverables, and develop deliverables against established standards
Qualifications :
- A minimum of 3 years of recent experience as a project manager within state and local or federal government context; State Government services experience preferred (or equivalent military experience with similar scope and criteria); Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university preferably in public policy, or business, or management information systems
- Demonstrated experience with project management, business analysis, technology and/or policy transformations as well as specific experience building and leveraging AI tools to delivery efficiency to client projects
- Knowledge of standard project management methodologies; Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master beneficial
- Certification in AI tools (Claude, Copilot, Github) preferred
- Ability to work onsite at client premises approximately eighty percent of the time
