KPMG is currently seeking a Cyber Defense Solution Architect in Cyber Threat Management for our Consulting practice.
- Lead pre-sales solution architect efforts for Cyber Defense and Security Operations, with a strong emphasis on client-facing engagements and technical solution design
- Collaborate with Alliance Sales Engineers to develop and present compelling technical solutions and demos, ensuring they are aligned with client expectations and needs
- Engage with clients directly to understand their challenges and requirements, and "show" the technical solutions and outcomes that align with their expectations
- Design and present tailored technical solutions for cross-sector Cyber Defense and Security Operations initiatives, emphasizing clear client benefits and value
- Facilitate large-scale security operations transformation and managed services programs by demonstrating firm-based approaches at internal training sessions, external events, and client meetings
- Innovate the next generation of cyber defense solutions to minimize the impact of threats, decrease their likelihood, and enhance adaptability, utilizing advanced technologies like AI and machine learning
- Design enterprise-scale technology systems, optimize processes for efficiency, and critically assess security tooling capabilities with strong technical justifications
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
- Eight years of experience in Security Operations architecture or related technology fields; consulting background is highly preferred
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience; relevant certifications in cybersecurity, cyber defense, and/or technical infrastructure are a plus.
- Proven ability to navigate technology integrations across client environments, enhancing defense layers while managing technology friction
- Strong client-facing skills with a demonstrated ability to build client relationships, understand their needs, and present tailored solutions
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams such as system administrators, data scientists, architects, and cybersecurity engineers to customize cyber defense solutions
- Ability and willingness to travel, work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, quickly adapt to new technology, and contribute effectively
