KPMG is currently seeking a Cyber Security Sales Engineer in Technology Risk for our Consulting practice.


Responsibilities:
  • Lead pre-sales engineering and support for Cyber Defense and Security Operations sales pursuits
  • Ownership of KPMG Cyber Defense and Security Operations alliance partner(s) including alliance relationships, pipeline, and sales pursuits
  • Ownership of KPMG Cyber Defense and Security Operations alliance partnership portfolio and annual sales number, specifically on Google SecOps, Microsoft Security, ServiceNow SecOps, or CrowdStrike
  • Facilitate sales of large-scale security operations transformation and managed services programs; Present firm-based approaches and messaging at internal training classes, external events, and client meetings
  • Innovate next generation cyber defense solutions that help minimize impact, decrease likelihood, and increase adaptability to cyber threats; Innovate cyber threat management and security automation products leveraging AI and machine learning
  • Experience designing enterprise-scale technology systems, orchestrating automation and optimizing processes for time and/or cost efficiency; Willingness to take a critical eye to security tooling capabilities and present defendable, technical justifications for decisions and designs

Qualifications:
  • Eight years of experience in Information Security or in a technology related field
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience; cyber security, cyber defense, and/or technical infrastructure certifications
  • Ability to navigate technology integrations across client environments, optimizing layers of defense while managing technology friction
  • Ability to collaborate, learn and work with cross functional teams like system administrators, data scientists, architects, and cyber security engineers to customize cyber defense solutions
  • Ability and willingness to travel, work in a fast paced, results driven environment, grasp new technology, and contribute at a rapid pace
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. California Salary Range: $153700 - $319000
