KPMG is currently seeking a Managing Director to join our Economic and Valuation Services practice.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and execute global transfer pricing compliance engagements, including managing risk, maintaining day-to-day client relationships and leading the internal team through the delivery process
- Lead initiatives to innovate how we leverage advanced technology to enhance our delivery processes and data capabilities
- Set engagement governance, operating cadence, and executive-level reporting to proactively manage scope, timelines, budget, quality and risk across multi-location delivery teams, serving as a liaison with KPMG local office teams and our offshore partners
- Lead, participate in and contribute to market and business development activities external to the firm, including identifying and pursuing new potential client service opportunities by collaborating across tax service lines and with KPMGs Audit and Advisory practices
- Contribute to the growth, experience and institutional knowledge of the team
Qualifications:
- Minimum 12 years of recent experience in transfer pricing, including recent experience selling and managing complex, multi-stakeholder engagements in a professional services environment
- Graduate degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Mathematics or Statistics from an accredited college/university and/or relevant professional credential (CPA, EA, Transfer Pricing Certificate from CIOT, CFA, or PMP)
- Experience leading multiple engagements and client service teams as well as developing and mentoring staff within a collaborative team environment
- Demonstrated track record of business development with the ability to develop and maintain existing internal and external client relationships and help build new relationships with key targets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to evaluate and articulate complex information
