- Provide tax consulting services to a full range of clients, including major multinational clients, and work closely with other offices of KPMG LLP to provide those services
- Work with other practice groups in Washington National Tax (WNT) and member firms of KPMG throughout the world
- Review tax memoranda and tax opinions
- Instruct internal firm courses related to incentives and credits
- Evaluate articles and other risk management activities
- Contribute to the growth, experience and institutional knowledge of the WNT practice staff level team members
- Minimum ten years of recent, relevant tax experience in an audit, tax and/or advisory firm or professional services firm, coupled with experience with public sector agencies; relevant government experience is preferred; candidates will be screened for adherence to post-employment restrictions
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university; Licensed CPA, JD/LLM or Enrolled Agent
- Technical skills and experience with tax incentives and credits
- Excellent advisory and compliance skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information
