- Participate in a wide variety of engagements related to process, risk and controls, including enterprise risk management, forensic programs, fraud and compliance risk
- Work on multi-disciplinary teams and build skills and core competencies, with rich experiences and unique perspective to serve clients of all sizes from diverse industries
- Conduct/support effective and thorough research, data gathering and analysis on new topic areas; Complete qualitative and quantitative data analysis and present information translated to client needs and provide recommendations; Execute a structured approach to problem solving using available tools, techniques and help from team members
- Assist with the design, preparation and analysis of findings and reports, leveraging strong written communication skills; Communicate and present information to clients and colleagues in a clear, logical and concise manner
- Manage priorities, time and work to meet deadlines; Offer recommendations to address obstacles and challenges and leverage knowledge to adjust and adapt as assignments evolve and change
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies and assist in special projects, including strategic growth initiatives, business development, thought leadership, training development and delivery and engagement activities
- Manage priorities, time and work to meet deadlines; Offer recommendations to address obstacles and challenges and leverage knowledge to adjust and adapt as assignments evolve and change
- Operate with integrity, professionalism and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the following degrees/majors: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Accounting, Quantitative Analysis, Finance, Risk Management, Business, Political Science, Public Policy or related degree from an accredited college or university
- Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.00 or above
- Knowledge of data analysis techniques including Gen AI and applicable uses
- Strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills, demonstrated quality service mindset and ability to navigate MS Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
- Exposure and competency with popular programming software and risk analytical tools such as SAS, R, QRM, Bancware, MATLAB, Stata, Statistics, Python, Tableau, QRM, Derivative Solutions, C++, Visual Basic is a plus.
- Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; and resourceful in delivering high quality work
- Must reside within a commutable distance of the office for this position and be responsible for your own transportation, such as personal vehicle or public transportation, to get to and from office / client locations to satisfactorily fulfill your job duties, as determined by your practice leadership
- Work location may be in the office, at client sites, or virtual/remote depending on business need. You must be located within the U.S. when working remotely. Client site locations may require travel and overnight/extended stay.
