KPMG is currently seeking an Associate to join our Trade and Customs practice.
Responsibilities:
- Research and advise clients in a variety of industries on import and export matters
- Utilize data analytics tools to help problem solve supply chain problems
- Introduce innovative approaches to help clients conduct their business, encompassing people, processes and technology
- Work with client's business, technology and compliance resources on global trade processes and procedures
- Develop and maintain client and internal relationships
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of prior work experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or foreign equivalent in business, information systems, management information systems, business analytics or related fields
- Knowledge of Excel and other Analytical Software would be advantageous; preferably Alteryx, Power BI, and/or any Script Languages
- Demonstrated quality service mindset, and knowledge of Global Trade processes, industry practices and measurements is preferred
- Flexibility and ability to think creatively and critically in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment; strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to travel and/or work on-site at client premises as needed, at times with relatively short notice
