KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Skills & Workforce Planning Technology to to join our Talent & Culture Technology & Data organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the dedicated functional subject matter specialist for the firm's skills intelligence and taxonomy platforms (for example ProFinda), driving system adoption, taxonomy maintenance, and capability expansion; manage end-to-end skills data, ensuring a smooth data synchronization between HR systems, learning platforms, and operational tools; partner with HR Digital and practice leaders to embed skills data into workforce planning, upskilling initiatives, and staffing workflows
  • Serve as the functional point of contact for strategic workforce modeling platforms, aligning long-term business strategy with skills availability and future capacity demands; consult, design, and support configuration of the Workday Workforce Planning module, as well as other KPMG workforce planning technologies and solutions; adapt dynamically to manage a variety of simultaneous projects, system configurations, and data integrations across the RM, skills, and talent landscape
  • Coordinate integrations and data consistency across skills intelligence (for example ProFinda), workforce planning models, core HCM, and resource deployment platforms (for example Certinia / Salesforce); dynamically manage concurrent projects and configurations across the broader talent, skills, and deployment technology stack; establish and monitor data governance standards, taxonomy update protocols, user access, and system compliance
  • Partner with third-party software vendors to track product defects, advocate for core product enhancements, and govern product licenses and exceptions; foster strong partnerships across Talent & Culture CoEs, functional business owners, and Digital Nexus to deliver smooth platform enhancements
  • Design test scenarios, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), triage defects, and validate system changes prior to enterprise release; partner with functional owners to develop training guides, FAQs, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and release notes to drive high user adoption of new tools and features
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of recent professional experience, with minimum three years focused on tech implementation, systems analysis, or product management within HR, skills, or workforce management systems
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in management information systems (MIS), business administration, human resources, computer science, or a related field or seven years of work experience preferred; minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required
  • Experience implementing or supporting Workday Workforce Planning solutions (Workday Adaptive Planning, Workday Illuminate) and/or Skills-mapping (for example ProFinda) platforms; Hands-on knowledge of modeling or BI reporting tools (for example, Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple distinct technology projects simultaneously and easily pivot across different platforms
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum processes, including experience writing user stories, accepting deliverables, and participating in sprint planning
  • Proven ability to build consensus across cross-functional HR, business, and IT teams to deliver technology initiatives; exceptional collaborative and communication skills, with a proven ability to lead as the primary point of contact for a strategic technical domain
