KPMG is currently seeking an Advisory Intern for ourpractice in Consulting.
Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of technology consulting services for various client engagements by executing assigned tasks, identifying and remediating business and technology challenges and utilizing KPMG frameworks and methodologies
- Conduct research on topics, tools and processes including, but not limited to: digital technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), IoT(Internet of Things) and cloud engineering to support client delivery and facilitate understanding of emerging technology trends, benefits, risks and deployment strategies
- Participate in business process technical design, data strategy and transformation, development, testing and implementation of modern digital solutions using industry leading vendor technologies including cloud-based technology platforms (Oracle, Workday, SAP), vendor technologies (Appian, ServiceNow, Microsoft, Outsystems, Unqork, Celonis) and Robotic Process Automation
- Contribute to the management of project activities, such as risk identification, report status tracking, deliverable coordination and client-facing presentations, ensuring high-quality deliverables and documentation, including process flow charts, presentations and policies/procedures
- Develop and maintain industry knowledge, participate in sales and business development activities, support the development of KPMG reusable offerings and participate in client and market information gathering to continuously improve consulting services
- Achieve relevant certifications on preferred technology domains, demonstrate a strong understanding of the technology and data landscape and proactively manage and communicate risks to protect businesses and limit the impact of disruptions
Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the following degrees/majors; Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Management Information Systems or equivalent program from an accredited college or university
- Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.0 or above
- Fluency with artificial intelligence concepts and tools with ability to apply AI techniques to analyze and interpret data, using insights to solve problems and effectively communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong technical aptitude, demonstrated quality service mindset, critical thinking and quantitative skills, with proficiency in navigating MS Office applications and a general understanding of data analysis techniques
- Knowledge and awareness of technologies such as IoT and Cloud Computing platforms
- Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills, along with the ability to work cross-functionally, be a flexible and adaptable team player and deliver high-quality work
- Must reside within a commutable distance of the office for this position and be responsible for your own transportation, such as personal vehicle or public transportation, to get to and from office / client locations to satisfactorily fulfill your job duties, as determined by your practice leadership
- Work location may be in the office, at client sites, or virtual/remote depending on business need. You must be located within the U.S. when working remotely. Client site locations may require travel and overnight/extended stay
