KPMG is currently seeking an Intern, Digital Engineering and Operations for Digital Nexus.

Responsibilities:
  • Learn AI, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps/Power Automate), PowerBI, ADL, ServiceNow, BCM and SQL Queries and apply analytical/problem solving skills to deliver efficiencies and value; deliver automation and reporting with clear documentation within the project timelines while following governance and documentation standards.
  • Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to modernize the end-user computing experience by packaging and deploying software via Microsoft Intune, collaborating with engineering and operational teams to support a secure and reliable user environment while adhering to all governance and documentation standards.
  • Apply foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles and multi-cloud environments to gain practical experience in documenting and enforcing security policies, procedures and data protection standards.
  • Partner with cross-functional units and IT teams to drive project alignment and successful delivery, ensuring milestones are met; develop and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for key IT processes, systems and procedures to build a shared knowledge base.
  • Continuously develop and apply new technical skills by assisting with troubleshooting and resolution of technology issues for end users, while actively participating in team meetings, presentations and brainstorming sessions to support collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the following degrees/majors; Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Forensics, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Data Processing, Data Analytics, Engineering, Informatics, Information Management, Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or equivalent program from an accredited college or university. 
  • Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills and ability to navigate MS Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
  • Understanding of business processes and information management concepts, with exposure to project management methodologies and best practices; the ability to apply these principles in a structured, collaborative technology environment is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, time management and emerging leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively as a flexible, adaptable team player and deliver high quality work in a fast paced technology environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and privileged information.
  • Work location may be in the office, at client sites, or virtual/remote depending on business need; you must be located within the U.S. when working remotely; client site locations may require travel and overnight/extended stay.
